Unit 14 M3

Unit 14 M3

There are many mechanisms put in place to combat and control the likely hood of some off the illegal occourences in P6 happening
Some mechanisms put in place are WiFi's are equipped with there own individual password so the likely hood of piggy backing is next to none the only way is if you hacked the password. If you have a password you can also prevent war driving.
The way to stop phone hacking is to change the password this is how the scandeled occoured as some of the passswords where 0000 or 1234 so if you change it then there is less of a chance of being hacked.
If you check your phones and run regular scans and make surwe no one can hack into your phone your data will also not be stolen.

Unit 14 D2

I used Bluetooth in P7 because even though it is slower it is more effective and it always goes through as long as you give it  time another good aspect is that its free but there are a few negative point such as you cannot take the phones far away from each other so you are limited to what you can do until it sends but it is the easiest way for begginers as it is simple and you don't have to do too much.

Unit 14 M2

The main difference between 3G and WiFi is the speed and signal strength, WiFi is usually a lot faster and therefor is easier to access the internet and emails although the further you are away form the WiFi connection there is more of a chance of 3g should be used, 3g is also good as it is good as you never loose signal but it is a lot slower. There is also a variation in cost 3g cost 80p from Vodafone obviously it can vary but this is a standard cost where as Wi-Fi is free to send picture messages which is a significant advantage.

Unit 14 P3

WiFi: WiFi is very helpful for most people as you can access the internet wirelessly this allows you to access all the internet has to offer, WiFi can be used in any device that has the ability to access the internet such as: Mobile phones, Ipods, laptops and on tablets. They are helpful as you can assess them from a good distance away.

Sms: this is used in text messaging it simply stands for short messaging service, it is manly used in mobile phones but there are websites where you can SMS your friends.

3g : this is when you can access the internet without being in a WiFi area this does cost more but is more helpful because no matter where you are you can access the internet you don't have to be in a hot spot you could be at home or on the go and you can access the internet.

Bluetooth : Bluetooth is a way of sending something without using a picture message  this is helpful because it does not cost anything but the downside is that it is slow and the picture can be distorted.

GPS :Gps is helpful as it is never offline and you can often get a good signal this is why it is used in mobile phones and satnavs most notibly in satnavs because this is where it is used the most.

The best way to learn is to be practical and learn whilst you do things this is more affective as you learn more about your mobile device, it may be hard at the begging but this will benefit you in the long term.

Laptop
This laptop would be good for a builder because it is strong and has a good battery life. It also is easy to send in-voices to companies to give them the infomation.

Tablet
This ipad 2 is good for a journalist because it has 3g so you can connect to the internet from anywhere, i-cloud for setting up a folder for other people to see, creating a newspaper write up and finally it has camaras to capture the image you want.

Mp3
This mp3 player is good for a factory worker to keep in your pocket listen to music as you walk around and do your work and it will make time go by quicker.

Mobile Phone

The Samsung Galaxy SII is a sensible option for a student it is not to expensive and has very good internet, fast and usually has a very good signal.

Unit 14 D1

\

Htc Specs:
4.7inch screen
highly responsive touch screen
8mp camera
6 hour battery life
I also think that the HTC sensation xl is a very good phone and it could also be used by the student but I chose the Samsung galaxy s2 as the battery last longer so the student can access the internet while he has long days at school but otherwise they are very similar.

 nokia tablet specs:
3 hour battery life
width 3inches
bluetooth

I think the nokia tablet could also be used by the reporter because it is small light and would take photographs and he could just simply send them but the only problem is that the iPod 2 has a better camera and seeing how this is so important to the photographer I chose the ipad 2

 Ipod touch specs:
highly responsive touch screen
apple aplications
8gb memory
internet acssesable
camera
The ipod touch is a very good choice and I would have chosen this over the Sony walkman but I had to take the owner into consideration and the factory worker could be not very good with technology and the walkman has a larger memory

 Apple laptop specs:
camera
quick internet
you can link with other apple products
video calls
I chose the hp pavilion over the apple laptop as the pavilion its easier to work and it has a better camera for video calls this is overall better for the builder as he does not know a lot about technology

Unit 14 P4

ICT Report In this report I am going to discuss the ways and how to access the internet whilst you are on location or at home, also I am going to discuss how a photographer would send the photographs from his mobile device or camera to his home computer system and then how he can send it to his office. If a photographer is at home he can encounter problems with sending his photographs to his home computer system. In my opinion the best way to access the internet is via 3G or Wi-Fi, it depends on how fast your Wi-Fi if it is faster then you should use that, then just simply send it to your email address or work address. If you are on sight and you take a photograph you need to email the photograph to your home or office computer there are several ways to do this such as: 3G, Wi-Fi or you could Bluetooth or infared the picture to someone such as your boss. I feel the best way to get your picture to its destination is to go on the internet via 3G then you could simply email it to your boss or your home address. In my opinion the best way to send a photograph to your email address is to use 3G as this is easily assessable and can be used at home or on location, so it can help no matter where you are and is simply better then your other options, its fast, easy to work. So I think you should use 3GSO TO SUMMERISE I THINK IF YOU ARE AT HOME YOU SHOULD USE WI-FI AND IF YOU ARE ON LOCATION THEN YOU SHOULD USE 3G
